I have VideoFactory (this is the less expensive version of Vegas prior to Sony aquiring Sonic Foundry).
Many things are very similar between VideoFactory and Vegas 5.
However, in VideoFactory I can place a slide into the timeline, select its Video FX and select Pan/Zoom. In this effect there are two buttons: Begin and End. I can click the Begin button, alter the pan and zoom, select the End button and alter the pan and zoom again. I can then play the slide and the effect begins with my Begin pan/zoom effect and animates through the slide to the End pan/zoom effect (gradulally zooming in throughout the duration of the slide).
I noticed that the new Vegas 5 does not have these Begin/End buttons but I still need to be able to create the pan/zoom effect I did in VideoFactory.
Can Vegas5 do this and if so, how?
Thank you :-)
