Vegas hub footage question

Simon-Hofling wrote on 6/18/2024, 8:20 AM

Is there a way to filter out all the "moving" videos where the camera is moving or zooming, so I can just browse the "still" videos where the camera perspective is fixed and doesn't change throughout the video? it's a little difficult to use a moving 10-second video as a background in a green screened video... I need footage that doesn't move around, so that it is suitable as a background in a chroma keyed video.

I'm not sure that the Hub offers still images, but one way to do this is to choose your video from the Hub and freeze frame it on Vegas Pro's timeline.

I don't mean till images, I mean video footage where the camera doesn't move around, like if you put a camera on a tripod and just leave it there. 99% of all video I find on the hub has some kind of moving, zooming or panning.

Thank you for claryifing. To my understanding, Vegas Hub content is provided by StoryBlocks and thus what is provided is a broad range of content which is searchable by basic search criteria like location rather than by technical camera movements and the like. Unfortunately, its just matter of searching until you find what you are seeking. Interestingly, a lot of what I find on Storybooks video are short grabs of what the original film maker/producer has already uploaded to YouTube - though the download quality is likely to be much better via the Hub rather than from YT unless you have a YT subscription (which I don't have) which allows for 4K downloads.
