Vegas is crashing EVERY time on imports

Hi, Vegas crashes every single time I try to import media on a new project, or even if I just click on imported media for an older project. This issue is making the program completely unusable for me, which is especially hard since I depend on it for making videos on Youtube

I'm not sure if the problem has been switching to Windows 10, but it's possible. I took a break from making videos for a few months, and I also recently upgraded to 10 from 8, but I'm pretty sure I've worked on a few projects right after upgrading just fine

Before I could read your message, I think I found a work around! As soon as I ran it in compatibility mode, it started letting me click on imported media again. But I'm gonna put it back into 10 mode and try what you said.

EDIT: Didn't work, but thanks. Guess it's back to compatibility mode for me.
