hello,

I already captured three long d-9 tapes, every thing ok, all of a sudden, vegas names the captured files clip1, clip 2, clip 3 instead of the names I wrote down in the batch capture list...

what am I doing wrong...
I hope, someone can help me..
(I restarted program and pc, problem hasn´t changed)

thanks
joachim

I solved the problem myself (after 2 hours of brain storming and one bar of chocolate): I used a letter (/) in the batch capture list, that can´t be used to write a file...

that´s all.

Maybe this is of use to some else (if so, please send me a new bar of chocolate)

I was going to give you a list of the illegal characters but the forum wouldn't display the message. Probably because they're illegal.

To see the list, just try to rename a scrap file with a question mark or something. Windows will tell you what characters you can't use.
