Anyone ever have a problem when vegas launches ie?

When I select Solid color it ALWAYS launches IE. This is when I use right click--insert generated media--solid--blammo IE and veg 8 pro every time?

I reallize I can use the drop in media from my manager and thats what I'm doing. I just dont know if its a bug in 7d or if it's my pc and the install (like some reg problem).

I can't duplicate this problem in VP8 or 7E .. Why not at least upgrade to 7E ??

i think I am running 7e; just a mistake.

wierd problem huh?

I'll ignore it, and assume its my pc and some install error.
Of course I've got v 5, v6 and 7 all on the same pc.
Never cleaned it up really, and perhaps certain files are shared and cause errors or something like that.

Hi Aug,

I'm pretty sure that you small "bug" is your system somehow got mixed up somewhere.

Over the years of "PC-fiddeling" I have learned that it is a good idea to clean up once i a while. Uninstall applications you don't use anymore and clean up harddrive, registry etc.
If you can afford it, it might be good to even have a special PC for editing. When you have installed all programs, make an image of the systemdrive. In this ways you can always go back to a "clean" install.
