Nice job! I like the white on black look.

Yea, nice clean look. I’m trying to update the look of my web site and I can’t find a color scheme that I like. It started out as a personal web page and I never intended to have all the video stuff on I do now so I’m trying to rearrange it so its more logical and professional looking but its hard to come up with something I like. So it’s harder than it looks. I like the way your page looks. (...and I’ll be careful not to break the link) ;-)

I find it interesting how webpage styles, colors and layouts have evolved.

I was talking with a web designer not long ago about a project when he snickered at the suggestion of a white on black color scheme.

Your page design underscores how effective bold simplicity can be. This is the same concept that I try to use in my productions.

It looks good and is a great idea. Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words. Personally I find the color scheme a little too halloween-ish. Just a quick and dirty job, but at least it's functional. I don't know, blame Sonic Foundry for painting the Vegas box orange. I ripped it from there.

I didn't know about Tsunami until someone posted the link a couple days ago...very cool, Edward. I'm glad to see what kind of ideas working on Excalibur inspired. The video wall is something I was looking for, so it may be worth the price alone. My only comment would be that the PIP function doesn't seem to take overscan into consideration. Is this a limitation of Vegas scripting?

Luxo, thanks. I added the link.

As for the PIP, you are correct. It does not take the overscan area into consideration. Neither does the video wall.

For the video wall, it is easy to just render it out and then add that section on a new track using either Track Motion or Pan/Crop to shrink it down slightly.

For the PIP, you can just open the Pan/Crop screen and fine-tune the placement. It is definitely something I need to consider as an added option.
