Thanks for the advice but I tried both suggestions already. I can
record two tracks with no problem. When I try to enable a third,
vegas locks up........I have talked to midiman and they have yet to
figure it out..

What OS are you using?

I cannot reproduce this problem. I worked with MIDIMan directly with
the latest drivers. I found that the latest drivers solve the problem
you described.

I as well went through this same problem of freezes/lockups with
Vegas and Midiman products. Remember Pete? I had 2 months down time
with this issue.

The driver is STILL not releasing I would say (God knows why not
now...what driver release are we on now?)

The problem does exist (probably for many users...not all).
Why?...only QUALITY testing from Midimans end can answer this; which
means $$$). I'm through providing them with further repros.

I am still finding Sev1 Pri 1 bugs all over cooledit 1.2 with delta.
They don't care...at least that is what I gather from them not
returning email, phone calls, constant busy signals, short vague
replies which never address the problen if they do respond.....you
know the drill.

At least PHaller helped as for Vegas and Midiman issues (eg. my
cooledit pro 1.2 still freezes CONSISTANTLY. Midiman denies this.
Wha???).

Note: Midiman is near absolute worst when ranking a companies
test/support/driver development as far as I'm concerned. Someone
needs to address this over there. It's a joke.
The product sounds great....but they're more than scary when it comes
to stamping compatibility. The software end needs a revamp.

I did a complete format re-install of OS an apps, upgraded my driver
to the latest.
Installed Vegas, and set up routing to go through wave 1/2 across the
board and Can get Vegas/Delta to work now. Don't stagger the
routing...it can cause troubles.
Try it.

Before...Delta worked..but only when set to independant...but single
insync is the obvious, most useful choice. I bet he is experiencing
the same. The situation is exact with my repro a while back as I
kept having to repeat it OVER AND FRIGGIN OVER to Gomer the tech
support whiz at Midiman.

Please, if possible...let Midiman know the importance of these bugs.
I really don't think they care. The corp heads all have $$ on the
brain...not if they don't clean it up. I'm interested in seeing if
how they reply to you.

Sorry if I sound coarse on the matter...but enough is enough.
Especially when their driver (how do you think we got here folks)
states it fixes frezes with cooledit and vegas.
