I am about half-way through working on a project and suddenly Vegas M.S. 9 just "goes away" without warning. When I reopen the program, it tells me my project will automatically be recovered but I need to save it to a new name immediately (huh?). This happens whether I'm working in the program, or simply reviewing it. The only other dialog box that pops up is the standard "tell microsoft about this problem?" notice.

I've had the program for a couple of months without issue and have made two other DVD projects without problems. This project however has WAY more transitions, photos, movie clips, etc. etc. and the program is running much slower as I add more files.

I just thought it was odd that the whole thing just disappears off my screen wihtout warning. Has this happend to anyone else and can anyone offer any assistance? THANKS!
