Post your complete file properties using MediaInfo.
Since you are using VMS 9, also post your Quicktime version.

MediaInfo is a free download. Google it.
Vegas Movie Studio 9 requires Quicktime version 7.6.2 or earlier to work with most AVC/MOV/MP4 files.
But we don't know what is in your files, yet.

You will need to install Quicktime 7.6.2 or earlier with Vegas Movie Studio 9.
Development of VMS 9 ended three years ago.
If your Movie Studio 9 is not the Platinum version, you may need to upgrade to VMS 11 to work with AVCHD.

OK i installed Quicktime 7.6.2. And i have the platinum version so do i need do uprage or no? And is there something else that should i do or will it work now?

You will need to try it with your files on your system, which is something I can't predict.
VMS 11 has vastly improved AVC timeline performance, so if you still have problems, downloading its trial version is the next step. Be sure to match your project properties to your media. Good luck.
