Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 8 - Internal Tab

I have Sony Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 8. It is a little old now, but I am getting setup to do some video editing. There are several settings that I people have described that I would like try, but the settings are on the "Internal" tab of the Options -> Preferences window. I know that I am supposed to hold SHIFT when clicking Preferences, but I cannot get the tab to appear. Is it not available in Platinum 8?

Nope. I happen to still have P8 installed on my PC, it's not there. I think v9 is when it became available.

Hmmmm. I've been using the internal tab on all SCS/SonicFoundry software for many ages, and i'm sure i've used it in VideoFactory 1 & 2. It's not a recent addition at all.

Maybe not but for the Studio versions, probably so.

It took until version 10 for Movie Studio Platinum to get more than 4 video and 4 audio tracks.
