You almost have to calculate power cost to the clients for editing on a baby like this - he he ;-)

they should of used the HD benchmark file, then we could compare it to our systems. :D

First UPS/FedEX charge a "fuel surcharge", we'll be adding "electric surcharge" to our invoices. :D

There did not appear to be a substantial gain of 8 cores over 4 cores. Guess software still has a ways to go. I am looking forward to the 3.2 GHz quads though. I had a 3.2 GHz Pentium 4. Then moved to a 3.2 GHz Dual Core. Will probably upgrade after April and get a motherboard that supports 8GB of DDR3 RAM too. Using Photoshop, Bridge and After Effects on Vista 64 last night, I pushed 94% physical RAM usage out of 4GB! Not sure how people survive on 2GB nowadays.
