Vegas Post 21 Upgrade

I am currently considering upgrading to Vegas Post 21 from version 19. Would the upgrade overwrite the Image and effects from version 19. I would still wish to use version 19 Post with effects and Image alongside version 21. Thank you John

Updates do overwrite and upgrades do not overwrite.
At upgrading 19 stays unharmed and can still be used.

@j-v Is that true for Post? At least here I don't see multiple copies of Effects and Image on my system.

Unfortunately, VEGAS Image and VEGAS Effects will be upgraded to version 5 and will overwrite the older versions. VEGAS Pro upgrades can live along side of older versions.

@RogerS As far as I know and see Vegas 19 did not already had Image and Effects available..

With me they came with Vegas 20

@j-v No, VEGAS Post is older than that, dating back to VP 17 days: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/vegas-effects-release-history--137590/

Anyway VEGASDerek answered that they are overwritten.

VEGAS Post did indeed start with VP 17.

Thank you for this @VegasDerek. I am aware that 19 an 21 Pro can sit and work alongside each other. What the trust of my question is, can I still use Vegas effects primarily through Post 19 after installing Post 21 and overwriting my existing Post19 effects and image utilities, not too worried about image
