Yes, you do have the right... there's a notice that you can send to youtube to get the copyright claim dropped, unfortunately I do not have that handy, one of the other users will have to chime in with that wording. They are working to sort that out.

I found it... send this to Youtube:

Please release this copyright claim as I have acquired this audio content from MAGIX (a Storyblocks API Partner) legitimately. Please find attached the End User License Agreement between Storyblocks and MAGIX end users that outlines my license to use this material. Please reach out to my Storyblocks Account Manager, Shelby Wolford, at shelby@storyblocks.com if you have any questions.

That part I'm not 100% sure about, you might not need to include anything since it lists a contact and an email address to reach out to them, that should be enough for youtube.

i already added that link of the agreement.. i saw this at storyblocks "Update your YouTube Channel ID and we should be able to remove most claims automatically in less than 30 minutes with no further action required by you"
do you have any idea how can we add our ID channel to that white list or shall i contact storyblocks and inquire?

fr0sty wrote on 8/11/2022, 12:24 PM

I'm not sure if there is a way to do that for VEGAS users, since they technically don't have a storyblocks account they can log into... but once you submit this to them, you shouldn't have to worry about any more claims. I've yet to hear from anyone saying that further claims were filed after the first one.

@fr0sty, I was having to refute the claim on every video I uploaded. I finally changed the piece of music to something else because I got tired of it after the first half dozen or so time. So, yes, you do have to worry about more claims...

@fr0sty I got my claim removed within 10 mins of sending the above msg included with the link.. but we should find a solution either to contact storyblocks and give them our channels ID or MAGIX should find us a solution .. its not practical that we make dispute each time we want to use any audio, as @jetdv mention too many claims might affect the channel

fr0sty wrote on 8/11/2022, 1:47 PM

For sure, I have brought it up to the VEGAS team that this needs to be addressed.

I have just had a dispute rejected by the composer, with youtube now warning about a potential copyright strike. I have appealed and will try the above info if that doesn't work! Thanks for the info
