VEGAS POST (Vegas Effects need some better improvement)

Even tho there is still no any new update or fix for VEGAS Effects to launch without turning off OFX folder for VEGAS Pro, there's few things that Magix/FXHome/VEGAS Team should fix on VP-VE connections.

1. I realised I cant send a subclip video in VP to VE. Which is a big bummer.

2. When I tried to send another clip from VP to VE, it will reject & show a msg box "VEGAS Effects can be open 1 at a time". Maybe Magix/FXHome/VEGAS Team can make VE automatically closed the current project & load up the next clip.

3. I tried some simple sky replacement edit. The video was shot in 100FPS. I slowed down in VP 30% with velocity. In VE it show up a original video without any adjustment or FX done inside VP. Just pure RAW. When I put a 10 second timelapse sunset video 29FPS in VE, the video play half way & paused inside VP. Which is a bit hard to edit. I really, really, really wish "Dynamic Link" is a thing for the next updates.

4. Idk, maybe there is T&C Between FXHome & Magix/VEGAS. There is no any 3D camera tracking. Even the latest Hitfilm Pro have Mocha intergrated for 3D camera. My friend laugh at me "U buying a software with less features". Plz do something lol.

5. Maybe because I have more experience in AE, I found the shortcut key like S for Scale, A for anchor point etc etc in AE to show up small neat timeline below the layer for keyframing is very very smart. Maybe VEGAS should customize VEGAS effects or something (Im assuming this kind of features is still far from happening)

I've raised some of these issues with the team already, they are aware of them and are working to improve. The last update for Vegas effects already added some of the stuff I'd asked for, such as the neon path effect. They did say they intend on tightening up the integration between VE and VP moving forward.

As for Mocha... we can keep our fingers crossed. I'd love to see it bundled with VE.

Systems:
