Vegas Pro 13 and Hitfilm 3 integration settings

The only way I can successfully run Hitfilm 3 - Vegas Pro 13 integration is if I set the "GPU acceleration of video processing" to "off" in Vegas Pro 13 Preferences – Video then I do not get the error message "Hitfilm server has stopped working". If I set GPU acceleration of video processing to" NVIDIA Corporation (Quadro 4000)" then I get the error message. Anyone else experienced this?

Yes, it's not uncommon to have problems with GPU switched on in Vegas unless you use certain graphics cards and your system is set up it up in a specific way. There's a lot of information about this on the forum. Even then, there might have been changes made to the latest versions of either Vegas or Hit Film that could subsequently affect GPU stability.

@Spectralis

I run with GPU acceleration on in Vegas 100% of the time with no problems. When I run Hitfilm in Vegas integration where I select a clip in Vegas, edit the clip in Hitfilm and return and replace the clip in Vegas. The error occurs when I close Hitfilm and then close Vegas (in any order) I get the error message "Hitfilm server has stopped working". You can watch the sequence of events in the task manager. Why is the Hitfilm server not being shut down when Vegas closes - only the developer can answer that question. Turning GPU acceleraton off appears to solve the problem but it does not mean it is a GPU problem. What other fuctions are being shut down when you turn off GPU acceleration. I did run GPU-Z when I ran all the tests did verify that all the GPU readings were within specs - no GPU problems.
