I have VP13 453 and plan to purchase VP14, can sometime tell me why I would want to install Magix 543 or 545? I'm not trying to be contrary, I just don't understand why anyone would take the time and perhaps risk of installing new software when the real thing is just days (weeks) away, but even if it were a year away, why tempt fate and install new software with no significant changes or features?
These versions are only for people who purchased Vegas Pro from MAGIX, not Sony. MAGIX had to make the branding changes so that they could continue selling VP13. Nothing is improved. Some things are broken. There is no point installing whatsover for those who purchased Vegas from Sony unless they are developers who want to get their plugins working.
I agree with Nick. There is no reason why anyone who already has Sony Vegas Pro 13 would want to install the MAGIX version. It was strictly created to keep the lawyers happy and has absolutely no benefits for previous customers.
Nick, Johnny, thanks for response and clarification.

Hi Guys. I had v12 installed & didn't intend to upgrade to v13 until Magix included v14 upgrade, so I did. Everything, including the v13 download, was from the Sony site, not Magix. When level 543 was released I took it as a means of a smooth trasition to the v14 upgrade as all the data pointed to Magix site now, not as before from Sony. Probably wouldn't made any difference for future upgrades but it did prove my info was in their system.
