Vegas pro 13 crash

A few months ago I upgrades moviestudio platinum 13 to Vegas Pro 13 after MSP crashed and Sony didn't give any feedback or help.
Until yesterday VP13 worked just fine.
Today it starts to open, then gives an error message and closes.
I did an unistall /reinstall but same problem.
Then installed it on the C drive instead of my SSD drive and it gives now a different error.
So I updated the aticfx64.dll file which caused the "Unmanaged Exception"
.
Can somebody help? I have the impression that Sony doesn't even care if their software works or not.

Given that you have not filled out you computer's system specs, I can only presume from the fault module that you have an AMD ATI graphics card installed.

Do you have the latest ATI Catalyst driver installed and was it installed via AMD's installation recommendations (i.e. completely uninstalling the previous version before installing the new version)? If not, give that a try. If the current graphics driver installation has a corruption of some sort, just replacing one file may not solve the problem.

From what you have described, it seems more like a graphics card problem than a VP13 problem.

Ok, I'll give it a try, but the mystery remains why the software worked before and then all of a sudden crashes and keeps on crashing?

You were right, I did an update on the drivers and now Vegas Pro works again like a charm.
thank you for your prompt support! Really helped me.
