Vegas Pro 13 Build (310) 64 bit. (Full version bought and registered).
PC HP Pavillion dv7 (Intel i7 quad core 64 bit, 16 GB of RAM). Video Nvidia.
OS Microsoft Windows 8.1 64 bit last patch level.
Two HD of 1 TB each.

Vegas crash in phase creating windows with the following errors.

I'd suggest opening a support ticket with SCS - if you haven't already done so.

1/- Many people have PAID for Vegas. And it's working for them. I'm sure many people here are sympathising with your situ.

2/- There's a Fault Module information that's AWOL. Any idea why?

I'm not seeing any crashes with "Fault Address: 0x000000000730FD70" in our database. Did you upload this crash to us withe the Sony Error Report tool? Unfortunately, there's nothing I can do to help with just this information.

If you get it to crash like this again, please upload a report with my name "Chris Dolan" and your userid "apsc" in the message so I can search for it.

Found it, thanks. Do you by any chance have JRiver media console installed? Your crash looks very similar to the crash we get with their ASIO driver. Or maybe some other ASIO-loading software?

If not, this is going to be tricky to find. What's happening is that Vegas is loading all plugins just to see what's installed on the system and which plugins it can use, and then unloading them. One of the plugins has installed a trigger in the window code, and forgot to uninstall it on unload. When that trigger fires, there's no longer a DLL to handle the trigger and Vegas crashes. But since it's already unloaded, I can't tell which DLL made the mistake...

I have installed on the same PC, Vegas Pro 12 (and never I have had problems, and stiil works), JRiver Media Center 19, GoPro Studio, but I need all these SW (excluding Vegas Pro 12, once I can start Vegas Pro 13, until I cannot start Pro 13, I cannot uninstall Pro 12).
In parallel I have opened a problem to Support and I have uploaded informations they asked to me.

OK, then JRiver Media Center 19 is 99% likely the cause of the crash -- we see the same crash with many other Sony products, and other vendors have reported issues with the JRiver ASIO driver as well. I've pursued this at length with their staff but we've reached no satisfactory resolution. So, in the next version of VP13 we'll simply refuse to load the JRiver DLL in our ASIO host. In the meantime, the best solution is to uninstall JRiver, but other workaround solutions include:

1) Uninstall JRiver temporarily, then launch Vegas, then reinstall JRiver. If you never go to the ASIO tab of the Preferences or clear your preferences, then we will likely never load their ASIO driver again and you won't experience the crash. This works is because we only probe the system for ASIO drivers on the first launch of Vegas and cache the results. But anything that causes us to rebuild the cache and reload the ASIO driver will crash Vegas again.

2) Disable the JRiver ASIO driver. **This is a quick-and-dirty fix and will prevent JRiver's ASIO feature from working.** Open Regedit.exe, go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ASIO\JRiver Media Center 19" and rename the "CLSID" key to something like "CLSID_disabled" so Vegas won't find it. To re-enable it, change the name back.

I'll also continue to work with JRiver and hopefully we'll reach a solution that makes everyone happy in the long run.
