Vegas Pro 13 + NewBlue Titler -Video upgrade input

I just upgraded to Sony Vegas Pro 13 from version 10. (I upgraded ti 11 but it often hung on my workstation and I skipped 12 altogether after reading comments on this forum. )

My MoBo is a 3 year old ASUS P8 Z68-V-Pro with 16 GB physical memory and a Intel Core i7-2600K 3.4 GHz (Unlocked) CPU. Up to now I have got along using the MoBo's onboard Intel HD Graphics 3000 to drive two LG IPS displays.

I also purchased the package including NewBlue Titler Pro 3 and NewBlue PrimeTime Lower 3rds.

Vegas 13 ran fine, then after I installed the NewBlue tools I started getting the message "Titler can't work due to low GPU capabilities".

Not surprisingly I imagine the Intel MoBo's onboard Intel HD Graphics 3000 isn't up to the task. I knew this day might come. Actually it took a lot longer than I imagined!

I believe all the slots in this MoBo are available. I don't have anything in the slots intended for the super-high-performance graphic card sets. I already have an power supply with lots of extra capaicity in this system since I knew I would upgrade the system in time.

I work with mostly AVCHD video and don't anticipate doing any work with 3D video. The majority of what I now find myself doing is documentary or promotional videos for commercial clients.

I'm looking for suggestions for upgrade video on this otherwise well performing (for my needs) MoBo. I would appreciate Forum member recommendations of video cards and drivers that are stable reliable performers with both Vegas and the NewBlue tools and are "reasonable" in cost

Your input greatly appreciated!

A reply from NewBlue said "Any current nVidia or AMD/ATI card will work fine."

A lot of the cards are amazingly powerful (and costly) and are meant for high-end gaming. I want a modestly priced card that will support Vegas Pro and the NewBlue add-ins and will support my two display setup.

I think that cards I find with multiple outputs, as my on-board Intel graphics adaptor currently does, will drive two displays when running Windows 7 64-bit Professional.

Do I need or want 2 separate cards when using two LG IPS displays?

Both my current displays support HDMI, DVI and even VGA 15-pin. Is either HDMI or DVI a better choice to feed Vegas output to them? I found a couple graphics adapters, like the one above, that have dual HDMI output. Also some seem to have dual DVI or I could drive one display with HDMI and the other with DVI. Has anybody run into advantages or problems with any specific configurations?

I'm ready to invest in a good adapter but don't want to overspend for capabilities that won't be useful in Vegas Pro and with the add-ins.

Any help or experience greatly appreciated.
