Vegas Pro 13 Stabilize Hyperlapse

Using a series of still images to create a hyperlapse (moving timelapse). Is there anyway to use the Sony Stabilize FX to stabilize the image? It needs to be applied at the media rather than track level... Does that mean I would need to render out the individual images into one video file and then stabilize that? Alternatives to Sony Stabilize to do this?

If your images are sequentially numbered you can import them as an image sequence and then apply the stabilize effect at the media level to the image sequence. If not sequential then run a batch rename utility to get the sequential.

Norman - I don't see that option under "Import"...

It is not under import. Use normal file selection. If your pictures are numbered sequentially, the option will show up.

By import I meant using the normal import media feature. The icon in the project media tab or "media" in the Import menu. There is a check option at the bottom of that dialog named "open sequence". If you select the first still and there are other stilla sequentially numbered after the first, the open sequence option will be enabled.

You can stabilize and image sequence. I tried it.
