Vegas Pro 14.0 rendering slower

Good day,

I am running Vegas Pro 14.0 on Windows 10 Pro on a DELL laptop with virtually no disk space used (%90 Free). A 1 minute-long video used to take approximately 1:45 of rendering time (less than 2 mins). All of a sudden, a minute-long video is now taking over 5 minutes of rendering time. I am using an HD 1080 MP4 template in 'best' video rendering quality. Any thoughts or solutions are appreciated. Thank you.

Was it the same source and project? FX plug-ins and the video content can slow things down to varying degrees. Two-pass is much slower than single pass as well.
