Vegas Pro 14 updates

Just downloaded and installed the new Vegas Pro 14. I'm happy to say, no glitches there. The 1000% video envelope is nice as well. But what did we want out of version 14?

1) ProRes : well, import doesn't crash vegas, that's good. However, preview is full of errors viewing Prores files and the audio doesn't work on some ProRes files anymore... Works fine in version 13.

2) There's no PreRes output (or I didn't find it). Which I was expecting, but one can always hope.

3) They stated improved support for Panasonic formats... No - still doesn't work. Not even one of the formats the new Panasonic Varicam LT works in is supported by Vegas (not even one!). Increasing and keeping a customer base depends on these kind of things...

We'll I was never going to be the one that was underwhelmed with the new promised features, as stability progress is what we're most after, after all. Anyone of us. But the version now available seems more stable, but with even less functionality (Prores not even working as well as before). I still have to work with my previous version until these errors are gone, I'm afraid. I don't mind waiting another month or even 2, but these issues need to be gone.

I hope they at least fixed the P2 (AVC-Intra) green frames problem.

AVC-Intra LT doesn't work and AVC-Intra 4K doesn't either. I'm not sure if I tested AVC-Intra 100...

Do the preview errors go away if you set the preview mode to Best/Full?

BTW, ProRes never worked right in Vegas Pro 13.  Levels were mapped incorrectly and the video was imported with worse than 8-bit precision.  At least those problems are fixed in Vegas Pro 14.
