Vegas Pro 15 321 Trimmer Scrubbing while holding

I noticed that, when you hold the cursor in the track line while playing a video in the Trimmer, it is literally as if you were using JL (forward and back), just without it affecting the audio.

It is very useful to me, and I would like to ask, if it is possible outside the Trimmer? I mean, when I hold and move the cursor (Video Preview), I get that weird sound effect (chipmunks effect how you call it today). But it is way better the other way around.

I truly hope it's possible.

If you grab the scrubber (cursor) by that top icon/head and move it, it will scrub the audio. If you grab it anywhere along its long thin line below the head/icon, it should just scrub video with no audio. If you hold CTRL down while grabbing the cursor along the thin line, it should scrub audio.

True, what you say is true, but it is still nowhere like Trimmer-Scrubbing.

This must be something new in V15. I am still using 12.

But the only difference is in the Trimmer you don't need to hold the cursor while in the timeline you need to hold by pressing the left mouse-button. Audio is treated same way then (it's muted in both cases).

It's just so that both are different in their own ways. I was simply asking whether it is possible to make, for example, Video Preview Scrubbing function like Trimmer-Scrubbing (talking about the scrubbing cursor when you hold it using your mouse and move left/right), but outside the Trimmer. Trimmer-Scrubbing (that is how I call it) would make editing really easier for me and does a better job than VideoPreview-Scrubbing.

Use both the Trimmer/VideoPreview-Scrubbing cursor, move around with your mouse and you'll see what I mean.
