Vegas pro 15 Build 216 crash while stabilization

GaryX wrote on 10/18/2017, 9:44 AM

i still have vegas pro 14 installed while 15 is installed because NewBlue keeps killing my Titler Pro with every update.

well, now the Problem:

while i stabilize a Video vegas crashes because of prodad Mercalli 4 .dll

i know they implented it in vegas 14, but why does 15 Crash because of it?

i've uninstalled the prodad Mercalli 4 addon but that doesn't help, still crashes because of it.

any ideas how i can get rid of this`? 😐

I think this is the inbuilt Vegas Stabilize not the updated version supplied as a third party bundle with 14. Now the inbuilt version is from Sony days and can crash with some clips. I use Sony AVC 4K video and stabilize a lot with the Vegas stabilize which crashes about 5% of the 4K clips I use it on.

hmm.. so i guess they will not work on that Problem. for me Video stabilization is essential, oh well... will the full Version of Mercalli 4 work with 4K and vegas 15? and/or is it possible to upgrade from the vegas 14 Mercalli Version to the full Mercalli Version?

ok, i found the upgrade on the prodad Website and this Version works with v15. they should disable the inbuild Version when it doesn't work -.-

I also have the latest version installed in V15 and it has not crashed Vegas, but I like the earlier version better.
