any Vegas save as *.veg file. But if you save project from Vegas Pro 15, you can't open in the previous version (VP14, VP13). The file has a different flag saved, effectively blocking backward compatibility.
The only option is to use the program Movie Studio / Vegas Pro Version Faker (MSVPVF) to change the flag.
it is not possible to save vegas 15 file as vegas 14 file.. but there is a simple way to do so...
open your vegas pro 15 project u want to convert in vegas 14 project.
&
in another window open vegas 14 new project blank file..
now just click on anywhere on the timeline of vegas 15 opened project & select all (Ctrl+A)
then copy it (Ctrl+C)
now paste it in your vegas pro 14 new empty project file
& save it with a different name..
you r done here..
Thanks, this worked the other way around for me. All my VP14 files will not do Dynamic Ram Previews when opened in VP15. Just tried this and they work now!
