I would like to know how much they are going to make a version of vegas for mac I hope it happens about 10 years ago it does not make sense to have a mac and install windows on it so here is my indiguination with the developers. Pay attention to your customers and see how many people have the desire to have vegas pro installed on their macintosh.
About the same time Apple makes FCP available for Windows. No, strike that. Vegas for Mac aint gonna happen unless Vegas gets completely rewritten without relying on Windows routines, which is overdue, but.would be mammoth task, so that aint gonna happen either, but please prove me wrong. OTOH, there's nothing really preventing FCP from being ported to Windows, but aint gonna happen either because why then would anyone buy a Mac? Come to think, why would anyone buy a Mac anyway - oh yeah, the marketing is so much better, and if it costs like twice as much it has to be better, even though it's the same components, right?
I think it's best to leave Vegas aside and go to adobe with the premiere because the final cut is an exclusive apple product and vegas not so in my view would have to have for mac and windows as adobe does

Look up posts in the archive by Johnny Rofrano. He has been using Vegas on his Mac for many years and swears by it. I imagine he will be happy to share his experiences.
