Vegas Pro 15 shuts down when I try to render

I've had this bug before. Are you using a multimonitor setup? Vegas sometimes locks up when I go to render if I have Vegas on the wrong screen (which the wrong one changes, so I sometimes have to move it back and forth until it decides to work, or sometimes I'll have to render when the Vegas window isn't filling my entire screen.)

Real time render is fine but only for audio.

Thanks. I think the problem is something else. Even if I have only one 60 second clip on the timeline as soon as I click "render as" I get the message and it shuts down. I have tried re-installing the graphics drivers, reinstalling Vegas Pro 15, and even rendering with the CPU only. I did try some of those ideas but I suspect something else is going on.
