Your error report shows a problem with the Hitfilm Mosaic and Hitfilm Matte Cleaner FX.

If GPU acceleration of video processing is ON in your video preferences, try turning it OFF.

Nick it Crashed on Startup After Reset.

If you can't open Vegas to make the setting adjustments suggested by Nick you MAY be able to start Vegas by changing settings in your Graphics card's control software. If you have an AMD card look in the AMD Catalyst software in the Power settings for something like Switchable Graphics Application Settings. There should be an option to set the performance level for Vegas - set to High Performance. Hopefully you can then start Vegas and turn off GPU acceleration. NVidia Control software may have similar setting options but you'd need to experiment.

Cheers, Robbie

The Ignite plug-ins "call home to mama" on startup. maybe they aren't getting a connection anymore. Uninstall them and find out.

I experienced the exact same problem after installing Vegas Pro 16 Suite.

The problem was caused by having too many different versions of the same Hitfilm plugins installed at the same time. I uninstalled all Hitfilm programs and plugins and then reset Vegas Pro again.

Vegas Pro 16 then opened OK.

Next I re-installed the Ignite plugins that come with VP16 Suite and this time everything worked OK.
