Vegas Pro 16 Uploaded audio problem

Anyone seen audio like this? It's a file uploaded from Sound Devices Mixpre 10T. I've recently had this problem only with newer Vegas edition. Typically, the audio is 24/48K at 29.970 fps timecode. Uploads fine in all other audio programs. Sometimes I can open the file fine in an earlier version of Vegas Pro, save it, then successfully open it in Vegas Pro 16. Interestingly, after opening a file in this manner, I can close that file then open another file that earlier would have looked/sounded like the screenshot and it will open just fine.

Win10/64 bit. I'm a decades long user of Vegas.

Is this a multi-track PCM poly file? I have SD recorders but not the MP series (I or II) and have not experienced that behavior.. I am on VP-16 though.

In Vegas try changing the "import Stereo as Dual Mono" settings in "Options> Preferences> General"

I too have a SD 702 and have never had problems. Again it is only recently. The Dual Mono change or the allow wave render to 4 GB did not work. Thanks.
