Vegas Pro 17 adds three extra audio tracks

I am sure this is a easy fix but I can't find it. When I add a video to the time line Vegas adds three more audio tracks. Track 1 is my video track 2 is my stereo track but Vegas adds track 3,4,and 5. There is no audio on the other three tracks. How can correct this?

Confirm that "Import stereo as dual-mono" is disabled as well in "Options> Preferences> General"
