Vegas Pro 17 Suite Crashes before EVEN loading

Having purchased and downloaded the latest Vegas Pro 17 Suite, you can imagine my disappointment after registering the product that it fails to open! It crashes right from the off...

I only want to know why Vegas Pro 17 Suite won't open?

It only gets to creating video plug in on the opening screen at which point I get the Vegas stopped working report. Looking down it shows that it seems to be a problem with Boris FX! But they also are not available, having gone through their reg process. I never recieved a link to download them!

I'm thinking surely Vegas should open without these additional add ons which are part of the suite, and that they can be added at a later date but hopefully someone can tell me. £300 quid is quite a lot of money to find that the automated download service and update doesnt even work.

Frustrated to say the least. If anyone can help it would be most appreciated.

I had the full continuum from a separate purchase in the past, and I did not have issues with Boris and Vegas 17.

Best is to go directly to the Boris website, make an account, and download the full and latest continuum which is Continuum_2019_5__OFX_Hosts_12_5_1_Windows.exe, activate your license from the suite and only allow licenced (from the suite) boris ofx plugins to load when the installer asks for it.

Hi,

I have downloaded Boris direct from their site.

But not sure how to activate it direct from Veags suite?

Any info on doing this, I've got 3 serial numbers for the below items

Boris FX Continuum Lights Unit

Boris FX Continuum Key and Blend Unit

Boris FX Continuum 3D Objects Unit

The good news is Vegas did open at least.

Activation can be done within Vegas when opening one of the referred plugins. There serials can be entered. After restart of Vegas plugins are active.

Or alternatively via windows: e.g. win10 Go to Windows start. Open the Boris Continuum folder and select the subheading "Activate Continium OFX licence". There you can enter your licence numbers!
