Vegas Pro 18 build 527, NVENC rendering missing

I have previously been using NVENC rendering, but when I reinstalled build 527 the NVENC options are missing, and the program only allows Intel QSV rendering. I have checked everything and disabled the Legacy encoding that I needed to disable previously to make this show up. But with the new install all NVENC is gone.

I have an Intel Core i7, and GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q.

I've found the NVENC rendering to be much faster than Intel QSV, so I'd really like to get it back, but I'm at a loss.

What GPU driver are you using? Try a recent studio one.

Not sure why you reinstalled 527 but you can also try a reset.

The program stopped opening... it kept saying I didn't have a license, which I do. I uninstalled it and downloaded the most recent version. The driver is Nvidea 30.0.15.1278. It says that is the most recent driver version for the GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q

@Jack-Tasker Try Geforce Experience to update your driver, the most recent Studio driver is 516.59 (31.0.15.1659) https://www.nvidia.com/en-gb/geforce/geforce-experience/

Gid, I did that. It didn't help. All NVENC rendering options missing. There were all there before the Vegas Pro 18 stopped opening and was reinstalled. Now there are gone. I'm at a loss.

When my Vegas stopped working, I went to help/deactivate, uninstalled it, reinstalled it and then activated and it was okay. Without that I kept getting nagged to register each time I opened it.

I'd try that and then do a reset and cache clear per the link above.
