Downloaded Boris Beauty add on. My perfectly functioning Vegas Pro 18 stopped running. I uninstalled the Boris add on and reinstalled Vegas Pro. It still will not run. Any suggestions?
Try a "Factory Reset". Make sure you clear the cache which isn't cleared when you do a reinstall.
Thanks for the fast comment. When following this procedure I did get the factory reset box and cleared the cache. I still get Problem: Unmanaged Exception (0xc0000005)

I would remove that Boris BCC+ from that location. Put it on the desktop or some place where it will not be accessed when starting VEGAS.
If VEGAS starts, then you can try putting it back in the folder location it was before to see if it will now work.

It's still a very unexpected problem even though the workaround suggested by Reyfox has worked - so that's good. I've got BCC 2021.5 and all BCC and BCC+ plugins work without a problem in Vegas Pro 18. BTW, Beauty Studio is actually not a BCC+ plugin - it's been around for years long before BCC+ existed and is a BCC plugin. So that it's created a BCC+ problem is rather strange.

Just curious, what are your computer specs? CPU make and model number, GPU if used, OS and amount of RAM?
I am wondering if when using the BorisFX installer, the OP installed everything - including the BCC+ plugins which are now part of the total BCC suite - rather than checking/highlighting just Beauty Studio for which apparently is the only licence he has usage of outside of trial mode?
