Vegas Pro 18 Crashing after using it past first time.

Hi,

My Sony Vegas Pro 18.0 is crashing everytime I edit, play or do anything related video related. However it only does this, after the first time I install it. I have brought 2 keys and both times they have worked when installed for the first time. The problem then persists when I reload the program, coming up with no preview of the video or anything.

I have a i7 9th gen hexacore CPU and a Nvidia 2060ti graphics card, with 32GB or RAM so my computer should be more than enough to stop the application from not responding.

What is in the crash message when you click show more information?

After you installed it did you make any notable changes to settings, install Fx/plugins, etc. that could be causing an issue?

Hi Roger,

There is no crash message, the programme just stops responding, before eventually closing.
I have not installed any fx plugins or anything, just the default package that comes with the vegas pro installation.

You might try doing an CTRL-ALT-DEL and see if any instances of Vegas continue running after closing the program. If so, stop those processes and try again.

Maybe resetting the program can help you and further I'm out of suggestions.
