I keep on getting this "The activation of AAC (MC) failed. If you are using the program as a guest, please repeat the activation procedure with administrator rights." it only happens when I try to drop or import any video type into vegas pro 18. but for some reason, MKV is able to be dropped since I enabled it in the file I/O.
So...have you done what the error window suggests?
Make sure it has Internet access, too (firewall, etc.) It should only need to do this activation once.

I did but nothing worked at all. I also contacted support for help they show me a lot of things to do to try and fix it but no help at all. from what I learned so far from another person who has had the same problem is that if you freshly installed Windows the software should work then. but then the problem happens again.

its all good the only way I can use the software is in a virtual Machine
