Vegas Pro 18 exports for mixing and mastering

Is there any way to export from Vegas 18 to ACID or another DAW for mixing and mastering?

I read a few posts about AAF and OMF exports options in previous versions but these options are "history" for now.

Downloaded a trial of ACID - it looks promising, but it's impossible to import Vegas projects or import anything at all... REALLY (in 2021)?

So my question is - what is the best way to work with audio outside Vegas avoiding "hard burning" PCM stems for re-import?

I know about AATranslator, also read @VEGASDerek's post here: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/community-project-aaf-import-export--118372/ but got no answer.

Dear @VEGASDerek can you please describe how to handle audio outside of Vegas? How can I export my audio timeline to an external DAW?

Or do you plan to improve Vegas audio engine to support VST3 plugins? For now, even a few simple VST's hang or lag Vegas dramatically...

Thanks!

AAC usually works going to PTs and (sometimes) to other DAWs.. but it ot reliable in my experience. I use AATranslater to convert OMF from PP and pre FCPx to XML and import audio to VP. Do not have VP 18 and recall there were AAC issues.

Are you talking you importing into Vegas Pro with AATranslater ? I'm more interested in exporting form Vegas to other DAWs such as Cubase or ACID (which have no import capabilities at all..)
