Vegas Pro 19 (build 550) won't open any more!

I run Windows 11, and many times (including constantly over the past week) the program just won't open! Simply nothing happens, no matter if I try launching it from the app list, from the shortcut, from the taskbar, or even trying to open a saved Vegas project... nothing seems to work.

Short of uninstall and re-install, tried everything. Any helper, please?

Yes, that happens from time to time on Windows 11 for me as well. Go to the Task Manager (Ctrl-Alt-Del), scroll; down the Processes list until you reach Vegas Pro, end then hit the End Task button on any Vegas Pro entries.

This is not a problem unique to Vegas Pro, it occasionally happens to me on both Windows 10 and 11 with a number of completely different programs including one of Microsoft's own programs (Outlook),

Cameras: Sony FDR-AX100E; GoPro Hero 11 Black Creator Edition

Installed: Vegas Pro 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 & 22, HitFilm Pro 2021.3, DaVinci Resolve Studio 20, BCC 2025, Mocha Pro 2025.0, NBFX TotalFX 7, Neat NR, DVD Architect 6.0, MAGIX Travel Maps, Sound Forge Pro 16, SpectraLayers Pro 11, iZotope RX11 Advanced and many other iZ plugins, Vegasaur 4.0

Wow! It worked! I thought the "End task" only served to end an unresponsive program, not to "free" it and allow subsequent launch. Thank you so much! :)
