Vegas Pro 19: Changing 'Out of Sync' group colors

Sadlylate wrote on 8/19/2021, 10:40 AM

Hey!

I've been trying out the new Vegas 19 trial to see if I'd be able to make the switch from 18.
I work with footage that usually gets recorded out of sync and so i offset the audio to match the video manually by releasing the group and dragging the audio to match the sync.

This has never been a pretty way to fix things but works fine!

I like to work without thumbnails on my clips at the timeline and so my Timelines are mostly just the colorscheme set by the track colors

With Vegas 19 Pro however; I'll have the exact same set up but because all my tracks are "out of sync" they're all red!

Example here;

I was wondering if there's a way to turn off the feature or change the color scheme back to the one I'm so used to from Vegas Pro 18?
As shown here:

It's easier that way for me to set apart the track layers as sometimes i'll be working with 8 or more!

Thank you in advance!

You can manually change the track colours. Right click on the track and see the drop down menu. Colour choices are a little limited though.

You can change the track colours to match V18 by going in to options and display there you will see the RBG settings for Tracks A, B, C, D, E, F ect. You need to enter the values as per V18. But I found the sound waveform is dull grey which does not show up well and I cannot find a setting to change this - dam it.

Thank you! I got this far but I like to go in without having to change the tracks every time.. It's only minor but i was hoping it was possible.. It's hard to see the edges of each clip now too!

Ahh! That's a real good tip! I'll take tonight to change all the RGB settings myself tonight then! Hopefully we can find a way for the sound waveform to be more noticeable though

This is a bug which will be addressed in the first update.

No way to change it right now, but we have heard other complaints about the wave form colors.

Great VegasDerek option to change the sound waveform colour would be perfect.

Appreciate it! Been liking the new Vegas so far, Thank you ! I do run into some trouble with Rendering as it seems that the NVENC options disappear as soon as I enable Legacy AVC / HEVC from the render settings menu..
I've encountered the same problem on Vegas 18 and I can't recall what I did to make them appear again

Only recently started getting it after I upgraded to a Nvidia Geforce 3080TI.

Any ideas?
