Vegas Pro 19 does not render with NVIDIA GPU

Corujao wrote on 8/12/2022, 8:55 PM

I didn't see any profile that included the NVIDIA graphics card. I have GPU acceleration checked in Preference..Video and it shows NVIDIA graphics card but nothing is shown for rendering.

My settings:

Operating System - Windows 8.1 64 bit
RAM memory: 16 GB
Processor: Corei 15-3340 3.10GHz
Video Card: GTX 1650 Asus Tuf

Possibly your Win 8 OS is the problem. VP19 was only compatible with Win 10/11.

Okay, I'll upgrade to windows 10 and test. Anything I go back to 8.1 and I only use the VEGAS PRO 18 version, which after all doesn't change much 😊

Thank you! : )

If that fails (I recommend doing it anyway, VEGAS runs better on windows 10), try to download the latest nvidia studio driver (not game ready driver).

Understood, thanks!

VEGAS has a handy driver update utility in the help menu that makes that super easy.

Systems:

Desktop

AMD Ryzen 7 1800x 8 core 16 thread at stock speed

64GB 3000mhz DDR4

Geforce RTX 3090

Windows 10

Laptop:

ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo 32GB (9980HK CPU, RTX 2060 GPU, dual 4K touch screens, main one OLED HDR)
