For some reason, Vegas got a major update for Vegas 19 even after Vegas 20's release, which is really weird. Idk why they did this at that time. I haven't seen any similar posts about it so that's why I'm posting about it here. Anyone else got it?
I used a 2nd generation i7 with Vegas up through VP 12.
Ditto. I had (and still have) a Dell XPS8300 i7-2600 from April 2011 - and it even had DVD and BD burners. It was great for the software of the time like Vegas Pro 11 & 12 - though VP11 was sadly a crash-fest.
Vegas Pro 12 was effectively a stability fix to VP11, and VP12 is noted as being one of the only Vegas Pro releases where a new version (VP12) .veg project file could be opened in the previous version (VP11).
Yes, and with VP12 we have the famous "freeze while cut with auto ripple enabled" bug,. which drived me crazy. So much headaches at that time.. I bought V11, V12 and now V19, and use V11 and V19 only :)
But sometimes i edit HEVC (gopro7 footages for example), and then i need VP19, V11 cannot import.
Where is the confusion?...
Because you didn't state that before. Go back on your comments on this thread and point out where you mentioned GoPro7 HEVC. The cause of the confusion lies entirely with you. Sheez!
I mean SOMETIMES!! Why should i state it before? My problem is now with 4k-h264. I only wrote that V11 is the most stable for me, but only for 1080/h264 files. Sometimes i edit 4k hevc files with V19, and NOW i have a problem with 4k-h264 project. That's 2 different thing.
I was clear. Please do not complicate it, just relax! :)
