Just upgraded and downloaded Vegas Pro 19. Looks great.

When pressing HELP in Vegas Pro 19 I just get the Help from Vegas Pro 18 -in the title line it says:

VEGAS Pro 18

- what might I have done wrong when installing 19 ??

I would like to read about the new prerendering feature - but nothing about it there - so where to find some hints as to use it ??

There's no updated HELP for VP19 yet.

The new pre-rendering feature is easy to use, just make a timeline selection for the section you want tor prerender and hit SHIFT+M and wait till the prerender of that section has finished.

Pre-rendering was always like that - so I wonder what the new prerendering feature that I have heard rumors about should be - Marco mentioned it in one of his first V 19 posts here.

No, previous prerender after you hit SHIFT+M you had to select a codec and hit render each time. Now VP19 selects automatically a a codec according your project settings and there's no need to hit render each time. But you still have the possibility to deviate from the VP19 selected codec.

@ritsmer, what @3POINT states is true. In addition, a ton of work has been done under the hood to make this feature far more stable, faster, and more reliable.
