I did nothing special in the Preferences.... it opened and playback back just fine. Even tossed a LUT on it and playback was good.

Computer specs listed in Sig...

@RogerS said it well. Your hardware is not able to use these latest Vegas Pro programs by far and for sure not that 4K heavy file.
