Vegas Pro 19 Preview Display and Thumbnails broken

All the video and picture displays of .mp4 video editing work a short time and then break. Any hint as to what the problem is would be helpful. I followed several different dimensions to exhaustion. (e.g. resample, vsync, adaptive fps, decoding, display quality, firmware updates, cookies, etc. Nothing seemed to make things better....)

@RogerS 👍 When i first saw that i thought graphics driver, his pic shows the latest tho, but i've found sometimes reinstalling the driver helps when there is an issue,

Yes, though this is a laptop so it may default to enabled. There are MUX switches to bypass the iGPU but I don't know about this system specifically or how it's set up.

Thought it might be worth trying given other's issues with Radeon Graphics in the past.

Not sure if it's because AMD Radeon Graphics is disabled or it just isn't scrolled down.

I tried disabling Radeon, but changed my mind since each of the 16 CPUs can use it. However I have just changed File I/O and Video to use the GTX card. No joy on problem from this.

Is AMD graphics a bit like Intel where you have to turn it on in BIOS?

Have not checked, but graphics card came with the TUF laptop, and it is certainly being used.

I may take a look at this, but since I don't get graphics in Vegas Pro without the card, I don't know that I can do anything with this.

@JohnSellers Hi, just looking at your vid, what is MVI... in the title of the clips (Musical Video Interactive?), does this happen with other media,

MP4 is just a container, within it is lots of information which can vary, one MP4 is not the same as another MP4, so can you post MediaInfo of the media,

After downloading, right click on the media in your Windows folder, open MediaInfo, choose Text from the View option at the top, select all, copy & paste in a comment here,

You could also share an unaltered file or two on Google Drive for others to play with n see,,

The MVI is just the file name of raw footage from my CANON Rebel T6i.

Also I am not looking to hard at MP4 because the videos work in all other contexts except in Vegas Pro 19, although I probably should go back to Vegas Pro 17 just to see if I have the problem there... and maybe I should also convert a couple of the MP4 video files to another file format to see if it affects the behavior... which I have not done yet.

There is a claim on the VegasPro reddit that latest drivers are not compatible with Vegas

For AMD users, 22.7.1 drivers will make Vegas Pro buggy (inverted colors on render)
I degraded to 22.5.1 and it fixed the inverted color bug I had with vegas, I hope it can help other people too when they find this

@JohnSellers Would you post the MediaInfo anyway, for our benefit even if you're not looking hard at the mp4 & it may not help you?

New Development:

Problem occurs on both Vegas Pro 19 and Vegas Pro 20 (Trial version)

The Problem does NOT occur on Vegas Pro 17.

I've tried other suggestions without success so far.

I started into collect MediaInfo data as suggested but ran into some problems with posting it.

Also, I will not be posting any MP4 files at this time because of privacy concerns.

And last, I am now pursuing the problem through Magix Support... they are going to do some analysis on the problem... They may escalate a bit on that since it happens on the new Vegas Pro 20 as well... I'm sure they don't want any bad press about the problem with the new product version.
