Vegas Pro 20 bad failure on project save

Hello,

I have been using Vegas Pro 20 (of course latest build).

I noticed so bad and annoying behaviour in Vegas Pro 20 when I click CTRL + S to save the current project, it paralised the Vegas. Then video playback cursor stops blinking and moving smoothly while playing the video. Playback cursor jumps and video is not playing smoothly. The only solution for it is to close the current project and reopen it but without clicking CTRL + S after reopen.

After clicking CTRL + S, all Vegas features are working very slow. It looks like it is doing a lot of work in the background.
It is very annoying feature because it forces me not to save the current project.

CTRL + S has also impact on longer renderings, that's why I always must close the current project and reopen it to have the most efficient result on rendering the current project.
I have autosave feature in Vegas turn on but once on 3 minutes, but this autosave feature doesn't work bad. Only user clicking CTRL + S does this annoying slow behaviour of Vegas.

Can you help me how to fix?

may I know which version of Vegas Pro you are using now? Is it the one time purchase (Perpetual License) or periodic subscribe (VP365) version?

If you are using the periodic subscribe (VP365) version, then try go to Vegas Hub > Vegas Projects (Automatic project collections feature), turn off.

Ok. I got it. When I disabled automatic project collections save, it helped me.

Sorry for late reply, but glad that you found the button.

When I first experimented with VP20, this issue also disturbs my comfort of repetitive saving.
