Vegas Pro 21 Crashing on almost every AVC/HEVC render

while other systems handle the small test footage without issues.

but sir sometimes a single footage didn't cause any error like we try to check from @Gid's send video, bunch of same type of media with long timeline + some basic or advance effects + transitions + adjustment layers + some overlays + and then you apply a buggy combination actions of VEGAS can cause these type of errors & crashes.

the one of the top buggy action combination which i face most of times is:

In a Large Heavy Project (as i described above) : Trim any event's Part (by splitting and delete or trim start or trim ends) > then > AutoRipple > then > Ctrl + Z.

when you will perform this action combination in a large project frequently one after one. VEGAS got confused or something happened and it gives lag problems.

At 70% times it give whitescreen freeze for some seconds and then restore and at 30% times its crashed without notice.

The undo function has led to crashes in many instances in the past. Nonetheless, I recommend testing it with your particular project on your own machine, following the specific steps you usually take. I've conducted tests with an 8-bit project I have, involving trimming, events, splitting, and rippling, and it works on my project.

But what about your project, your editing process, your hardware? Those are unique situations.

The only way to identify issues is to reproduce them. Once they can be reliably reproduced, they can be addressed.

A small test project - showing the bug in a reproduceable way - would be helpful for the developers. In many cases it works also with some few files only. Unfortunately not in all cases.

I am pleased to say whatever was broken by VP21 Build 300 has been fixed by installing build 314.

I see from the fix-list that there was an issue with NVIDIA GPUs, so perhaps that was my issue. Thanks everyone for your input.

Panasonic HDC-X1500 I use .MOV output of 2160p-50 at 150M

I stabilise the footage whete needed with Mercalli saving to mp4 AVC for edit

Vegas Pro 22.0 Build 239 My finished target is normally 2160p HEVC or AVC, occasionally 1080p

Benq EL287OU 28" native 4k monitor

Intel i9-9900 Skylake X @ standard 3.50Ghz.

32GB Corsair RAM 3200Mhz

NVIDIA RTX4060 + the latest studio driver offered by Vegas

Windows 10 Home Build 19045.4291
