When I right-click the audio of an mp4 video on the timeline, I choose 'Open Copy in Audio Editor' and it opens in Spectral Layers Pro 11. However, after I make changes and return to VEGAS, the changes have not been made. So at present I choose 'Open in Audio Editor', make changes and then from the File Menu I choose 'Export Mixdown'. I save the file and then have to import it back into VEGAS. I then have to ungroup the video and audio on the timeline, delete the audio, replace it with the new audio file and then regroup. As you can imagine this is very annoying and time consuming. Has anyone else found this and can anyone suggest a reason and a cure. I seem to remember when using VEGAS Pro 18 and Spectral Layers 10 or before that 7, there was no problem. I hope someone can help. When I use Sound Forge Pro 12 as my audio editor there is no problem, so there seems to be a compatibility issue between VEGAS Pro 21 and Spectral Layers.
