Vegas Pro 23 and 32 bit audio for video clips

Last summer I purchased the XLR adapter for my Panasonic GH7 and now have 32 bit audio recorded directly to my video files (internal ProRES straight to CF Express card). Vegas Pro 23 was unable to playback the audio. It always appeared as a video file with no audio at all. Same files worked perfectly in Davinci Resolve so I know that it is not a problem with the source files.

But I've noticed that once I upgraded to Vegas Pro 23 build 302 that the waveform is not "empty" anymore. But shows some spikes. The audio is still broken and I cannot use it but this indicates that "something" has changed.

Now I am wondering if Vegas Team has actually introduced 32bit audio support and I simply don't know how to adjust the project settings to edit them properly.

Anyone here managed to get 32bit audio recordings to work in build 302+?
