Weirdness #3. When I stabilize a clip in VP23, using a 3rd party stabilizer (NEWBLUE) it will stabilize, but the stabilization doesn't stick very long. It will usually last long enough for me to render the clip out, but when I go back to it (WITHOUT changing anything in or near that clip), it says Analysis Required. This happens on all of the 6 clips requiring stabilizing in this project, and it's very time consuming to have to do this each time I want to render the project. I've not had that problem with previous versions of VP.
@jetdv Thank you for your response. Yes, that is an option. In fact, if I need to do a "major" stabilization (I shoot fair amount of aerial video from helicopters), I stabilize the clips using Mercalli before even loading into Vegas. But occasionally, if I only need to do a little "tweak" of a clip, I like to do it "on the fly" as I'm editing.
This de-stabilization that's occurring now is something new (to me) in VP23. I didn't have that issue with VP22. The NewBlue stabilizer gives me more options than the Vegas stabilizer. And unfortunately, my version of Mercalli is SAL only, so I can't use it "on the fly."
I have never encountered this issue with any other version of VEGAS or Movie Studio, but since updating to VEGAS 23 (Build 278), my preview is permanently displayed vertically, and the picture appears dark.
For the darkness issue, that is solved by simply moving the window to my SDR monitor, rather than my main HDR monitor; though there, the image is now too bright. Essentially, either way, it's not ideal.
The upside-down issue, on the other hand, I have absolutely no clue what's causing that or have even seen anything of this issue either on this community page or generally online, especially as said, the video is only flipped vertically, not horizontally too, so basically it's not properly upside down / rotated 180 degrees.
Having issues with the pixel format/color range not properly decoding ProRes files anymore with ACES or something? idk i'm still trying to diagnose and fix my project.

@Louis-Danne ProRes 4444 isn't working right and has been acknowledged by the developers so hopefully there will be a quick fix. Other formats don't seem affected.
Docking in Vegas was never in a preference dialog.
What specifically do you want to dock?
Here is how VP23 looks on my computer. Color Grading Panel docked at the bottom. I have the Plugin Manager, Happy Otter Scripts and the Scopes all docked. Use your Ctrl+LMB (left mouse button). Release the LMB when you want to dock.
Thank you @Reyfox, however, there were always a couple of docking options in VP22, and there should be more in VP24. Please see the screenshot from the help dialog for VP24. These options do not exis on my trial version.
Vegas 23 Pro. Vegas Screen Capture is not working. First time the Stop Button is not working. Now i have now no screen is avaible to capture.
Same here. I can see the screens and window content when I am selecting the Capture Source. Then when selected, the source preview is blank/black and says "Not Available". Then when I start recording, the Stop Recording button does not respond.
