Still getting undetermined failure when rendering with AV1 template and changing from default bit rates. I select 50/100 or 75/100 ave/max.

Also playback on timeline with V23 is still slower than V22 for various FX (Mercalli V6 for example).

Pan and Crop render speed for stills still not fixed, much slower than version 22. Timeline updates much slower than version 22. So far, disappointed as no improvement is seen.

Playback cursor no longer scrolls with playback on timeline while playing video. Makes editing a huge pain. Problem seems to occur more frequently on larger projects. This was not a problem in the previous build, and other posts on the forum are expressing similar issues. Happens on NVIDIA graphics driver 581 and 591. Makes editing nearly impossible.

I’m also encountering this problem, and it’s severely impacting my ability to work. I’m on a hard deadline today, and on an NVIDIA RTX A2000 (12GB) the software is effectively unusable for editing. This requires urgent resolution.

Playback cursor is completely broken for me, also seems to randomly start rendering files w/o the option to stop. Can't use the software for my job any more.

Hmm. I just updated to build 356 this morning and noticed that the colors in some video footage are now wrong. Ugh...it's early morning here, and I haven't even had my first cup of coffee yet.

I checked my project settings' Pixel Format, which is typically set to 8-bit Full Range, and that hasn't changed. When I set it to 32-bit FP Range and Gamma 2.2 (video), then the color in all the footage looks correct. I could leave it there, but I'm trying to finish up this project today, and would rather not mess with too many things with uncertainty right now. (I know, I should have held off updating...like I said, I haven't had my coffee yet, so I'm still a little groggy.) 😑

The footage in question is a character animation I created, which was output from After Effects as ProRes about a year ago. I've used this footage in every episode of an animation tutorial series on our YT channel, and the colors had always looked correct before build 356.

Any idea what could be wrong? I'm wondering if I'm missing something obvious.

Thanks in advance for any helpful tips!

Thanks for getting this out before the holiday. Reeeaaally hoping this fixes the infinite hangs when pausing/stopping playback because it’s essentially sentenced my project to a screeching halt with how frequent it’s happening. I’m so glad that this is only a hobby because if I was facing deadlines I would be in trouble!
