Vegas Pro 23 - Error 24

I've tried all the help and the support email. No response. I have two emails and neither show the product registered to it, and trying to activate on the program itself doesn't show it's registered. When I try to register it, it says it's already registered.

Do I have to just count this as a loss and cr@ck it? I've paid for it, I'd rather not have to go that route.

or if anyone has any suggestions, please.

Hi,

Your serial number is linked to the email address that you used to purchase the program and with which you registered. Error 24 is described under SUPPORT at the top of this screen. Read what is in this link. You cannot use another email address with that serial number when you start the program.

Also, log into your account with Magix and check under My Products. If the program is not listed, then you probably registered under a different email address (which is your user name with Magix) and which should not be done.

I understand that issue now. The question is if it gets registered under a different email address, what can I do? If there's nothing to do, then I'll have to go around it. I just need to know whether or not to keep bothering trying support.

Hi,

You can change your email address in your account. Of course, this changes your username for your account.

You personally, should not have 2 accounts. If you want to transfer the software to another account, then you have to deal with Support.

Unfortunately, both email addresses have accounts. The problem is that it shows registered to neither.

Another thing that has cropped up on this forum a few times in the past is where the e-mail address has a space or other hidden character at the front which will give error 24.

I can try that. But from what it looks like, I'm going to have to use a method to get around the registration because any attempt to contact support has been met with radio silence.

Attempting to use the space doesn't work for either email. Unforunately unless there's another method to contact Magix, I'll be forced to crack it.

And this definitely will affect my interest in buying the license for future products and versions.
